Support

I have to thank you all again for the outpouring of support that you gave us while Brayden was at the hosptial, and even after we got home. So many of you have/had the Team Brayden buttons on your blog and it makes me smile every time I see one!

I decided to remove my Team Brayden buttons now that he is well and home, and replace them with a button for Kayleigh. So many of you already know her story, but if you don't, go here.
She will be having surgery on Monday, so please keep her and her family in your prayers!

---

Tomorrow will be a busy day if the weather permits. We have church, then I have a business meeting, and then we are going to a cocktail party/fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald house. During our stay at ACH, we met so many people who were staying at the RM house. It really made an impact on me. I can't tell you all of the good they do for those who have no where else to stay while their precious babies are in the hospital. It's a wonderful, wonderful organization. We are taking Brayden to the event as a former NICU baby and hope to help others understand the good that the RM house does!

I say "weather permitting" because it's currently snowing and I won't be taking the little man out in bad weather. But the forecast for tomorrow looks good, so we will see!

Last night mom and dad kept Brayden. He did pretty well, though he didn't sleep 8 hours for them like he's been doing for me recently. Chris and I went to Shogun (YUM, though not on my diet plan) and then came back home and played Wii. It was fun, but I missed him terribly!

Jenna, remember the saying... no place like home. I know I always sleep better at home. :) Glad you and Chris had a night out. The fundraiser sounds great... I hope you guys get to go.

So neat that you are getting involved with RMH! I'm glad your first night away from Brayden was ok. Brody's first night away was a week ago. Josh and I had a fun night, but I sure missed Brody!

Will be praying you get to get everything done tomorrow!! I am so happy to hear you are helping the RMH!! My sister and brother in law used a lot of their services when my niece was in the NICU. It is an amazing thing!!

I agree, the RMH is a wonderful organization! I've had the opportunity to serve meals to the fams here at the RMH in Little Rock and received such a blessing from those families.

It's so good to see Brayden home and healthy. We prayed for him every day. :) God is so good.

GREAT NEWS ON YOUR BROTHER! REMEMBER TO continue PRAYER FROM HIM NOW THOUGH BECAUSE THIS IS WHEN THE DEVIL WORKS OVER TIME. HE DOESN'T WORK ON THE LOST HE WORKS ON THE ONES THAT CHANGING:) JUST A LITTLE REMINDER

We as Christians so many times pray for change and once that starts to take place we think ok now God will take care of the rest...not true. The devil is at his works now, he didn't care about your brother then..now he does.

I'll be in prayer.

Blessing
Jennifer

Hogwash to Anonymous! I've been following Jenna's blog and praying for that precious baby and his devoted parents since Brayden was born. This is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a comment, and it is directed to you, Anonymous, - shame on YOU for casting judgement on them!
Brayden certainly couldn't have felt 'abandoned' when cared for by his adoring grandparents, and it's very important for Mommy and Daddy to have Wife and Husband time together now and then.
