Getaway

I've been gone the last couple of days. My laptop is totally on the fritz so I didn't take it with me...I will be taking it to Best Buy...wish me luck, they can be SO hard to deal with!

Chris and I decided to fly down to San Antonio and spend a couple of days to recoup. After I had B, we spent five long weeks in the hospital. Then we came home and he was...well, a little scary (because he was on reglan). Now, we are in a good groove. He sleeps well, he likes to travel etc, etc. He sees his Grammy (my mom) everyday so her and Granddaddy kept him while we went away for 2 days.

So we just flew in today. Chris went golfing with his father for father's day and then I'm going to meet them at Guidos (pizza).
I took ONE picture the entire time we were in San Antonio but I can't get it to upload! Ugh.
While we were there we drove down to San Marcos (I think...it was something like that) and they had the most amazing outlets ever! There was a Saks, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Gucci, Kate Spade, Coach, Tumi and many many more! My best deal? A Coach trench coat that I got about 60% off!

It looks similar to this one. I think. Maybe not. But I'm pretty sure it does.

Right before we left, I picked up B's professional pics that I ordered. Once they are all in frames I'll take pics and post them.

If you haven't entered the giveaway (below) there's still time!

I am fairly sure you went to San Marcos - two sets of outlets right next to each other. I used to love going there. Lots of great deals to be had! I am glad you had a good couple of days away!

We just got back from San Antonio, and the pic you have with all the colored umbrellas is Casa del Rio and we ate there. We also went to San Marcos and I am right there with you sista I have never seen an outlet store like that before. I got a pair of pants from Eddie Bauer 70% off! We went to Children's Place, Carter, Crocs and more if we had had time, it was awesome. Glad you got away!

My brother and sister actually work at the outlet mall in San Marcos. Can't wait for tax free weekend here in Texas b/c I can hit them up at Gap, Fossil, Kenneth Cole, and the other store my brother works at. Yep between the 2 of them they have 4 jobs there. My sister bought me a pea coat from Fossil for Christmas that would normally be 145.00 for only 30.00 (Gotta love her discounts). Glad you had a nice trip.

Hi Jenna! You are correct about "San Marcos." I live in Austin and they are by far the BEST outlets I have ever been to. Coach has great deals and I have gotten some great stuff at the Neimans Last Call there too. Juicy Sweat Pants for $17.00 and a Kate Spade clutch for $34.00! Sounds like you had a great time in SA.

How FUN!! I am from Texas and have visited San Antonio SO many times. Pretty close to San Antonio is a place called New Braunfels. We used to go there for YEARS and float on a tube down the Guadalupe River....SO SO fun!

I'm glad you two had the chance to get away for a few days :)

And I LOVE the coat!!! Way CUTE!
