Ok. My thoughts.

Well, I've looked at the blogs and everything related to the April blog. Here are my thoughts.

I think it is all very confusing. I refuse to pass judgement on the situation because a) it's not my place and b) it is the internet and yes things can be doctored but they can also be real. Truthfully, people could have said what I was going through with Brayden was a hoax if they wanted to, because people can say anything on the internet - or so it seems.

If it is a hoax then I'm obviously very hurt, as the mother of a NICU baby and just as a person who was praying for them.

If it isn't then I hope and pray they havent been too negatively affected by what's going on.
In any case, whoever is behind this blog needs our prayers.

Feel free to leave me your thoughts and comments, as I of course read them. Hopefully tomorrow we can talk about something upbeat! I have an idea but I am still working on how to work it out....so stay tuned.

I am SO sad about all of this. I just can't let myself believe that this was a hoax...and I refuse to believe that until there is valid proof.

Either way, I am not only praying for April Rose, her family, and the people that are suggesting this is a hoax.

I am so hoping that someone wouldn't create this blog as a hoax. I think that would just be awful to say the least. I too have been praying for this little girl and everyone involved. I pray that if it is a hoax then the person involved realizes that something like this is nothing to joke around with. I was pretty shocked to see that the site was taken down this morning...

This is sad that we even have to wonder whether or not it is true!
You are right though. Regardless of whether it is true or not whoever is behind the blog needs prayers more than ever!

I am so confused too, do I think it's a hoax? I have great suspicion that it is, but the truth is, none of us really know the 100% truth except for those behind it.

it is really sad and i am still praying for whomever is behind it.

I want to believe it is real - but I just don't know.

But it isn't the first time something like this has happened. I can recall a blog I followed about a girl with CF and that blog was a fake too.

So so sad.

I agree 100% with what you said its not our place to judge and if it is a hoax that will be sad for all the people that have been praying for a baby that is not sick when there are so many babies that are sick but its not "wasted" prayer because whoever is behind the blog does need our prayers!

Thank you for going ahead and posting your thoughts about the situation. We all appreciate your open and honest take. I am absolutely shocked how quick new blogs about it have popped up. I feel hurt thinking that April doesn't exist. I have spent so much time following her and praying for her. I agree with Lianna; until I see impirical evidence that we have all been cyber-victimized (I made that word up...does it make sense?), I am choosing to beleive that all of us are inherently good.

Click on the button at the top that says 'Personal Blog'.

Website I think she has a very good post about April Rose, shows and explains pictures and such.

Just FYI.

Praying for all those involved.

Thank you SO much Jenna!! That is exactly what I've been thinking and how I feel! I even left a comment saying basically the same thing on one of the "we're going to pull this apart til we make B and D and whoever else seem like the worst people in the world" blogs." You just said it in alot less words! ;)
I think we just need to be very careful not to make harsh judgments until(and if)we know the whole story.

I really don't think it's a hoax... what benefit would they get out of it?

Why would Raechel claim to know B, and spend hours of her wedding anniversary updating the blog? Why would Angie Smith be meeting with Raechel right now over coffee?

Why would B & D create a blog, twitter accounts, etc... just to confuse people they don't even know? Why would they share such a story, one that has been particularly vulnerable, and set themselves up for such hate?

Oh I am so sad now... Angie, MckMama & Raechel just all simultaneously posted on their blogs that they believe the April Rose blog is a fake. They don't offer any details, they just compel us to pray for B & D. I think that is all that we can do.

Alicia, I'm not saying this is the case but she did have ads on her page, when someone clicks on the ad the blog owner gets $0.02. While that doesn't sound like alot the more readers you get the more money you'll make.

And with Angie, Jennifer and Raechel posting that they were fooled well they know "B" better than we do so....

I'm with you..If indeed it is all a hoax, I am very, very heartbroken. I poured my heart out to this 'girl' (?) .. My husband and I sent our first baby girl home to be with Jesus, born still, at 32 weeks to - You guessed it, Trisomy 13. If it is a hoax..Not only does it hurt, it makes me so angry. Not just for myself but for the other moms who have lost their sweet angels to trisomies, or at all ..

It's such a sad, sad situation, and I know that God will heal my hurt feelings and my anger-I just pray that again, if it's all a hoax, that He will be with whomever is behind the blog and it's entries.

If it's not a hoax, then I'm thankful for having said so many prayers, not just for this baby but for her family and for pouring my heart out to this person.

MckMama @ My Charming Kids addresses the whole situation. I am taking it that she knows some details. Check out her post. http://www.mycharmingkids.net/2009/06/april-rose.html

I am very hurt by this. I have come to the conclusion that it is a hoax from sources that I know are "real" bloggers.

It bothers me that this girl manipulated us all into believing that she was this "innocent" woman going through such turmoil. It hurts to know she played all of us like fools and used God in the mix of it.

However, my heart goes out to "B" and I hope that she finds it in her to apologize to all of those who she plotted against. I also pray for her that she realizes what she did and how the hearts and trust of so many out there are broken. May God guide her out of this darkness.

This is so sad. April Rose is the second encounter of what I believe to be Internet Sympathy by someone seeking attention. The other wasn't very long ago and that blog, I realized this morning, has also been taken down. In the other situation said mother posted one photo which she labeled as her son who died in utero just days before she was due to deliver. The photo just didn't look real and the story along with several events which occurred right after just didn't 'fit' the situation.
It hurts to know that someone feels they need to go to these lengths to seek attention. So many are left devastated by something like this. I pray these folks will reach out and get the help they need.

No matter what the case may be, I am praying. I am praying for pranksters and I am praying the reality.

Thanks for sharing this!
