Jeans. What are your faves?

First, thanks to everyone for you replies on my last post! I feel better now!

And if you haven't entered my YoBaby Giveaway, click here to do so!

So let's talk jeans. I LOVE jeans. I live in jeans. I really loved my jeans before I had B. Now they don't fit like they used to. I have several pairs that I used to adore...

TR's:

7's:

My 7 Dojo's still fit well. But my A pockets and my TR's don't. So what are you favorite jeans? I want to buy some new ones but I'd like them to have a little higher rise so that when I sit I don't feel like they are too low. Also, I'm hard to fit. I have LONG legs and thats why I buy more expensive jeans - they are longer.

I am not usually a commenter but apparently your opinion seeking posts inspire me to comment!
I had some 7s and some TRs pre-pregnancy as well as some Citizens and some Rock & Republics. The only ones that fit me now are my A-pockets :(

I have purchased some Hudsons and LOVE them. I am 5'10" tall and they are long enough to wear my tallest heels with them. They are also high-waisted enough without looking like "mom jeans." They fit great and look great! Hope this helps...good luck in your jean search!

To me, jeans are well worth buying the expensive ones. They fit better and they last longer. Thankfully, my husband doesn't mind me buying nice jeans :) My favorites are 7s in the Dojo. They work well for me because they balance out my shape. I recently tried on some Hudsons and I really loved the way they fit - the only thing I wasn't crazy about was that they felt a little too straight legged to me. Talking about jeans makes me want to get a new pair!

When I was my skinny self, I loved my 7's & Citizens. Banana has also come out with a more modern cut jean and they don't sit too low...they usually have longs. I'm 5'9, so I have the same problem when it comes to length.

I personally am not the one to ask because I frankly don't spend loads of money on jeans. Whatever pair I find that are cheap and if I like the way they fit me, then SCORE!!!

I wear Citizens and Banana Republic.

Express is my favorite and Gap's Long and Lean is a close second. They are more expensive but last a loong time!

I just bought a pair from Anne Taylor Loft. They are very long, perhaps they would work for you?

OOh! I just tried William Rast the other dy- and LOVED them! I am 5'9" and they fit perfectly! And Anememe fit good too! My favorites are always True Religions and Miss Me though!

It sounds like I have the same problem as you! My legs are LONG! I have to have a 34" inseam. I have 2 pairs of 7's that I love but they don't fit again, YET! I have never been able to wear TR or Citizens...they just didn't fit right! My absolute favorite's are Rock and Republics. I have three pairs and they seem to be a little bit higher waisted. They are the ones that fit me not too long after having Tristin. They are also plenty long, one pair is even too long! I had a pair of Hudson Maternity jeans and I liked them too. They were plenty long but a little narrow through the hips (I have wide hips though). Good Luck!!!

I am a jean freak! 7, Earl, William Rast, Rock&Republic, Hudson, Joe...

My favorite are my William Rast-Stella- Boot Cut- Classic Rise. They are my "go-to" jeans. They are perfect with everything. I can dress them up or wear them with a t-shirt and flipflops!
Here is the link- http://www.williamrast.com/catalog/Detail.aspx?CCode=73;Boot%20Cut&cICode=1094
They are the love of my life.

I have to have a 34"inseam and american eagle and express fit great and they have higher waisted jeans and the price is right for me and I wear jeans a lot but can't afford the high dollar, they hold up well.

I guess I am the minority here :) I also don't really care the brand of my jeans. As long as they fit, I am happy. I am short (5'1") so I sometimes have the opposite problem as you! I don't have much spending money so I try to make it last and stretch as far as i can. I hope one day to be able to splurge on nice jeans but for now, my cheaper brands (Dollhouse, Vanity, Hydraulic) are just great! Hopefully I didn't make anyone cringe. ha ha

I wear mostly Citizens and I have a pair of Dojo 7s (way too long-must wear heels & I'm 5'7) & a pair of A pockets, but I just hate the price tag on them! They're all I really like though...so I am on a mission-going to Maurices this weekend and if I don't like any of their Silvers; I guess I'll be heading to Park Plaza & hitting up Indigo for some more Citizens! Oh the jean dilemma!

My favorites are Silver's. They are oh so soft and make my flat butt look not so flat. There is a store in my town that sell them for 49.99. That is way cheap considering they are usually around $100 (or close to it).

Yeah, you must be way more fancy than me because I've never even herad of TR's! A fashnista I am not, but most 'fancy' brands don't go big enough to fit my booty anyway!

I wanted to ask if you saw the Bach and her man on Regis and Kelly when Anderson Cooper hosted? I haven't watched the show since Trista & Ryan but know enough to love what Anderson asked her. He straight up asked how many of the men she was intimate with! When the audience and Kelly reacted shocked his response (which I LOVED) was something like "Oh, she makes out with multiple men and rubs one down with oil on national TV and I'm the bad guy for asking this question?" Very very true.

Also have been curious if you work, who watches B if you do, and what your husband does for a living?

7 Jeans now makes a high wasted jean, not too high wasted though. They look cute but don't show your crack when you bend over!! HAHA

I like Express Fit and Flare jeans... and they are pretty long because I have two tall friends and they both wear the Fit and Flares too! They have a thick hem and I think it makes them look a little dressier:)

I must be out of the fashion loop, b/c I haven't heard of a lot of these! I like the Old Navy "Sweetheart" style. Not too low cut. And they don't break the bank!

I'm 5'11" (and have a really small figure) and have a hard time finding jeans too. I live in a small town with not that many places to shop--at all, but one of the only places I can find jeans is Aeropostale. They have their jeans in long sizes and they are about 50 bucks a piece but can at least be found half off at least once a month! :)

Try Hudson Jeans or Joe's. Joe's makes a "honey fit" that is a no gap type waste band to keep from showing anything when you sit down. I love both of these brands, and I also love my 7s!

I have the long leg issue too...You'll have to post again if you find some good ones!

I have to be honest and say that I buy Instant Slims from Walmart. Cheapskate I am.
