I Need Some Motivation

Some of you all seem to have so much energy! I need to borrow some!

I have a whole lot of baking and cooking to do this week. Chris' dads family is coming up this weekend to celebrate Christmas and I am doing the cooking. Here's my list:

Spinach dip
Antipasti tray

Ham
Sweet potato casserole
Green bean casserole
Rolls
Something else - maybe cranberry jello salad

That's nothing compared to this list:
Lemon bars
Plain fudge
Nut fudge
Peanut butter blossoms
Possibly toffee
Mint oreo balls
Layer cookies
Gingerbread
Peanut butter chocolate krispies
(all from scratch!)

That's not all of it, but Chris moved my list! I'll have to have him dig it up when he gets home. I'm really not sure how I'm going to get this all done. Some things, like fudge can't be left, you have to stay with it until it's done and setting up in the fridge.

Are you hosting a Christmas dinner? What's on your menu?

Wow! Looks like you'll be busy. Maybe your hubby will give you a hand in the kitchen. Your menu sounds delish!

What a delicious sounding menu! I'm not hosting Christmas this year but I always try to help my mom and make as much as possible. I LOVE to bake so those are my favorite things to make.

Wow! I guess we all know what you will be doing. I have stuff to make to take to my sisters Christmas party but not that long. You should share some of the recipes when you get a chance!

I would skip right to the desserts!! These look delicious!

I'm not baking as much this year, and you have motivated me to get back in the kitchen and to make some brownies tonight!

Yes I just commented a few minutes ago but I also wanted to let you know you have been tagged on my blog with an award! I don't know any other way to tag someone besides this way and link you on my blog!

I have quite a bit of baking left to do. We spend the holiday at my parents' house so I just bring a few of my favorite appetizers for Christmas eve.

I don't know that I would be much help with any "real" food, but here's a super easy recipe that my mom has been making for as long as I can remember, and I can't even mess it up. It is super easy and oh, so yummy!
