Theme REVEALED!

A few of you guessed right! And some of you were super creative and gave me some great ideas!

But, the theme is...

Dr. Seuss! It's not super themey, I mainly bought a bunch of blue and white polka dot stuff and red and white striped things to decorate with. I'll share more later!

A lot of you thought I'd go with monkeys and I really, really considered it! But there is another reason we went with Dr. Seuss...but I'm not sharing that yet!

Guesses??

That will be a cute, fun theme! Pottery Barn Kids has such cute Dr. Seuss stuff for a nursery/bedroom. I just had my little boy on December 21st & we did his nursery in sock monkeys. It turned out just the way I wanted it, but I still have a few things I want to do :)

That's a neat nursery theme! My friend's buddy did his son's nursery Dr. Seuss as well and painted a mural of one of the pages from a Dr. Seuss book on one of the walls. I haven't seen it but heard it look awesome!

You want everyone to bring Dr. Seuss books to donate to ACH??

Wendy said...

I would've sworn it was Mickey Mouse! If ACH is anything like Cinci Children's - Dr. S is all over the place! I know he was in the room where we spent several hours trying to determine whether or not Easton had a bowel obstruction...not sure what that kind of room is called but they do X-Rays and Upper GI studies in there!

Brittany - no but thats a great idea! I'm actually asking everyone whose coming (all family) to donate what they would have spent on B to ACH in his name. But I will keep your guess in mind for the future!

Love your theme. I was looking for my son a 2nd birthday shirt on etsy and came across a number one dr. seuss shirt. Didn't know if you had a shirt or not but here is the site!

My youngest's first birthday was Cat in the Hat. Here are the pics: http://thecreekmorefour.blogspot.com/2008/10/tyler-1st-birthday-party.html
I made the cake myself. Super easy since it's suppose to look crazy anyway! Ha!
