Picture OVERLOAD: Visit to the Arboretum

This post contains an absurd amount of pictures. You have been warned!

But first, a recipe of mine was featured on Tailgating Tuesday over on my friend Flint's website, Holy Turf. If you or your husband are big college football fans, like we are in this house, you have to check his awesome website out! It's updated daily with all the latest in college football news. And while you're there, check out my recipe for Buffalo Chicken Balls!

On Friday we visited the Dallas Arboretum, which I had never before heard of. A big shout out of thanks goes to Whitney from Blake And Whitney, for telling me about this! We had such an awesome time! There were over 50,000 pumpkins there - it was one of the coolest things I've ever seen. If you are in the Dallas area or will be visiting, you have GOT to check it out!

And now I will commence with the abundance of pictures!

Brayden - with a stick thrown over his shoulder for no apparent reason.

Brayden - still with the stick. I don't know.

Brody and a few pumpkins that were as big as he is.
All those gorgeous pumpkins! There were SO many great spots for taking pictures!
Awe-Some.
I had never seen a pumpkin like this before - they are white with orange veins. So, so pretty.
They have this whole Fairy Tale area set up, and here we are in Cinderella's carriage.
Beautiful tree lined walkways, lined with pumpkins are another great place to take a few snapshots.
The sweetest little pumpkin:
These are 2 of the 3 Fairy Tale houses that are built out of pumpkins:

A few of the 50,000...
So what do you think? Aren't these pumpkins gorgeous? Have you been to the Arboretum, or have something like this in your area?
