Um Wow.

OK so I seriously had NO CLUE so many people read my blog! Now I am totally second guessing myself on whether or not to just leave it public? I'm so confused. So help me out if you will - if you have a private blog what are the benefits in your eyes? I was just thinking that once Brayden comes I might not want to have his pics and info out there where anyone can happen upon it. But you all seem like such nice people so maybe I have nothing to worry about! =)

Also - if you are one of the commenter's that have a private blog please email me at wife2chris@yahoo.com - I would love to read your blogs!

Jenna, seriously, I would love to BEG you to leave your blog public! LOL I have SO many bloggy friends who have gone private and I've been invited to read, but honestly, if it doesn't show up in my google reader, I forget!! I'm HORRIBLE about it!!!

I know I don't comment much but I found your blog from Kelly's right when you got pregnant and I've been reading and praying ever since!

SO since you're still undecided, please please please please please please please please please please please stay public!!! :)

I'm like her above - I never remember to read the private blogs because they never show as being "updated". Plus you can only invite 100 people to read your blog.
I understand going private. I always thought I might when we had a baby - but on the other hand I've met soooooo many wonderful people through my blog and that would never happen if it was private.

Jenna, I am a private blogger. At the moment anyways. Ha! (And I sent you an invite, btw.) Anywho, I go back and forth between my blog being private and public. Sometimes my mood just hits me to make it private. No real reason. So, there is my reason for a private blog--which probably didn't help ya. lol. Sorry. I found you from Kelly's Korner and found Kelly through Bring the Rain. I love reading your story and praying for you. :) Have a wonderful day.

Well, I think this is only my second comment ever{the other was to add me to your private list}, but I have been reading your blog for a while now {I found it through Kelly's} and I have just been praying for you right along with everyone else. I understand the sentiment with wanting to go private but I also understand remaining public. I think you have to decide what is best for you and your family. I love your blog and I have been praying for your little family, your health and the health of little Brayden for weeks now since I found you! Congratulatons!

Hi Jenna, I am not good at leaving comments but thru Kelly's blog I have gotten to read and pray for lots of new "friends" I have never met or talked to. I enjoy reading your blog. I will stay with you if you stay public. I am looking forward to baby stories. Take care and God bless you and your family. Pam C.

I would love to go public but my main concern was a personal issue. If you trust the people that read, all is well ;).

I contemplated going private (again) about a month ago. Then I realized how many sweet people were reading. I went private back in the spring b/c I got my feelings hurt by a comment from somebody I didn't know...a friend of a friend who didn't care for something I'd written. Then I got over it, and went public again. Then some strange man tried to watch me change Caroline's dirty diaper in the back of my Tahoe, and I freaked out. I realized, though, that being on this blog isn't quite the same. I've somewhat protected ourselves by not sharing our "real" last name or home town.
