Tunnel

When B was in the hospital I didn't listen to a lot of music (obviously!). But there was a song that was in my head a LOT. I don't think I've shared that before, and if I have, pretend I didn't. ha.

I'm sure a lot of you know this song because from things you've said I take it your Third Day fans like I am. So anyway, this song was my personal anthem for BB!

Enjoy!

Oh Jenna! Doesn't it just break your heart to look back at those pictures. My husband and I were looking at pics from the day Bailey was born the other day and he just cried all over again. It's still just all sureal to me. But to him, the fact she was born early and we knew up front she'd probably be rushed to the NICU was reality to him. I was strapped to a table with my blood pressure sky rocketing and them bottoming out while I risk bleeding to death. So I don't remember all that with her, but he sure does. Of course, I remember the days after. And that Christmas Day we came home without a baby.

And then to see the NOW!!! Isn't God just so good? Thank you for sharing the then and now. We all need to reflect upon that from time to time and I'm grateful for the reminder!!

He is too stinking cute!

Our God is a Great God! Brayden is doing so much better, and only by the grace of God. He is sure happy all the time, or at least in all his pics!

Jenna, your baby boy is beautiful. I couldn't imagine having to look at my baby hooked up to tubes and monitors--you are so blessed by how well he is doing today.

I needed to hear that song just now. When I first started writing my blog, my husband had lost his job and I wrote a post about needing a light at the end of the tunnel. I just got back from a doctor's appointment where I found out that I have to have surgery in two weeks. I just needed to hear that there IS a light at the end of the tunnel...even if I don't know what it is or when it will be. Thanks.

When my daughter was in the NICU the song that we heard over and over again on our way to see her was "Waiting on a Woman" by Brad Paisley. We used to joke that it was quite appropriate because that's what we were doing!

She's going to be a year old next week, and I still don't know how I'm going to feel about her birthday. I'm scared that I won't be happy because I'll only be able to think about the bad things from that day...but we're going to take a cake to the NICU to say thank you to every one who helped her!

B is so precious!
