I'm So Excited!

Chris has tomorrow and Friday off! Yippee! No, I'm not being sarcastic here. I LOVE when my hubs is at home. Were going to do super exciting stuff too. Like go to the grocery store. Well, maybe not super exciting to everyone but to me, anytime that he's not normally with me, but suddenly is becomes a super exciting time.

Out of curiosity, does anyone else volunteer themselves to be their siblings decider-of-who-is-right-for-them? I've noticed that I have self appointed myself to this position for my one and only sibling, my brother. Recently, he's done an about face and has turned his life around. I want to find him to help him find a great girl. Now of course I know that just because I like someone doesn't mean that she is the right person for him. Right. I tend to be a little opinionated but that is mainly because our family is very, very close and we spend a LOT of time together. My mom and I spend almost every day together and I see my brother at least 2-3 times a week.

I'm thinking about doing another giveaway...anyone interested in another jewelry item from Forever 21?

I've been reading your blog and left comments sporadically, but had to leave one on this post because I laughed so loudly.

My brother is 5 years younger than me (he's only 17), so I don't really know about the finding someone for him thing, but my first thought when I read this (and I am still laughing so hard) is that "Hmm, I'm a 22 year old single female- wonder if I'd be Brayden-mommy approved." LOL :)

I have done that before with my 2 younger brothers. There are 5 of us kids and I am the 3rd. I wish I could make all there decisions for them about that. No such luck though! good luck finding the right girl. Have a safe Holiday...

can i just say that i LOVE this post! You're so cute! =) I'm recently married & I would LOVE it if I had a day off & my husband did too! Granted he works for a Univeristy, so he's on their schedule, but I'm a M-F 7:30 - 4:30 girl. Sigh. Oh well! =)

I'd love to win some Forever 21 jewlery! I know Kelly (Harper's mom) loves that store, and she has cute stuff... so it wouldn't hurt! =)

Have a great 4th!

I normally do NOT like to grocery shop with Scott (love him but it's never been fun to me). But we all 3 went the other day and I really loved it. ha! How life changes.
It's different now that I don't have the pressure of work AND being at home - I was always in a hurry before and now I have TIME to spend with Scott.

I'm really close with my family, too. So I totally understand. My brothers are 3 1/2 years younger, but I never tried to set them up with anyone 'cause everyone I knew was married or not who I thought would be a good match for them. I'm glad to know of someone else who is close to their mom. My mom lives 2 hours from us, but I talk to her several times a day on the phone. I also talk to my dad and brothers a couple of times a week. My husband thinks we're weird. Oh well...good luck with your matchmaking!

That is fun that your hubby will be home! Grocery shopping is always more fun with another set of adult hands.

I also think I know who is right for my little sister (not the guy she's dating now). Apparently though, I don't have say, what kind of crap is that?
