Almost five years ago, right after Chris and I got married, one of the pastors at our church called us and said that a local newspaper was wanting to do an article on a newly married couple celebrating their first Thanksgiving together. So he called us and asked if we were interested. We thought it would be fun, so we said yes!
Well, we had just gotten married the month before. And we were cooking our first big dinner for 11 people - my parents, brother, Chris' mom and stepdad, and his dad, stepmom, half brother and step sister. Clear as mud?
